2013 will see us reluctantly retire from alpaca breeding
Age and infirmity have persuaded us that 2013 will be the year that we "bow out " from alpaca breeding. Since 2001 when we started, the industry has grown and developed and we have really enjoyed being a part of it.
However, we have reached the age where its getting ever more difficult to keep up with the physical demands of looking after our herd and we are planning to run down our herd numbers to just a few "pets".
We will be holding an Open Day on Sunday 26th May for both the local folks and their children to come along and "meet" the alpacas and for anyone interested in purchasing any to view them. From our point of view, the availability to the animals of a good home where they will be looked after properly is much more important than their price.
We hope this event will be a happy day and a success to all.
